Week 4

Hey everyone,

How are you all doing? I love hearing from everyone. Well a few quick thing i keep forgetting to tell you. The first day i ws here i had to use most of my money to get shots i guess i needed a few more, also idk if there is money on my card and i dont know how to check it so ya. Ok sorry i have not really told you about my distric or techers here is a quick summery. We lost our first teacher Soeur (sister) Anderson because she moved and got married. So our teachers are Frere (Brother) Drean and Frere Parson. they are both so awesome and are such great teachers we are lucky to have them. Frere Drean went to Canada on his mission and Parson went to Congo and just got back in Dec so he is still so excited to tell us everything and give so much great advice. Well my comp Elder Tree is from Kansas City, Missouri and he played football and loves to act and sing. He is so great we do clash somethimes in personalities with his funny voices and being so hyper but nothing major we work well to gether and always have great deep studies. Also we work so well together sometimes i am suprised we have been finishing each others thought when talking to people, so basicly we are together to much. OK in my room is Elder Howe and Florence they are companions and they are both going to Paris also. Florence is six foot seven or two meters so he is really tall . he is now the new district leader because i am now zone leader. he is so nice and knows more about cars then anyone i know. Elder Howe is the funny or goofies person i have ever meet. he makes will talk forever about who know what but we love him. He keeps us entertained by answering questions in class that sometimes make no sense. Oh Florence is from Salt lake and Howe is from North Carolina. Elder Makanani and Elder Garlick are the other Elders in our district they are complete oppisites. They are going to the West Indies Makanani ( it is said exactly how it is spelled) is from Long Beach and Elder Garlick is from here in UT. Makanani is the crazy somoian that just loves to have fun. He pulls us off task all the time but he also makes us laugh at lunch and gym so much. He loves teaching but hates studing, but he already speaks three languages so french gomes easy to him. Elder Garlick reminds me alot of myself and we get along so well we are always hanging in out residence hall ( i like to call it foyer arbre that means home tree in french) buut he is really nice and although he has alot of trouble wanting to sudy while following his com around the MTC while he socializes he is loving it here and has so much passion for the gospel. The last person in my district is Seour Judd, it is sad because she is a solo sister and the only girl in the district so she gets to put up with us all day, but we love having her around. She is the hardest worker by far. she is always studing and is so nice even when she has to listen to a group of elders all day after losing the only girl teacher, but we love her and she bring so much to the distric so it helps alot. ok that is my district haha. Ok so i hope that helps you picture who i am with all day. in a few weeks after i have more pictures i will send you pictures of everyone and of my MTC life so far. Well this week was the fastest week i have ever had. I dont know where it went. Se have been teaching alot this week and i love it so much. It gives a purpose to all the studying. I funny story from this week way while teaching in french i asked a man if "he would pray to Joseph Smith the prophet" not to pray to see if he is a prophet so my comp had to explan that we dont p[ray to Joseph it was really funny. Well everything is get here. Tell Bryce and Paul to write me ok. I only have five min left so i want to let you know that this church is true. I grow each day and even though i thought it was impossable to know any more how true it is i am becomeing stronger. I know that we have been so blessed because of Christs love and atonement. I want everyone to feel this joy and love that we are blessed with. Keep being amazing examples and such wounderful people. I want to say so much more but i dont have time.
